Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

A good friend of Andy’s has started a blog to document his own journey with an illness and after consideration, I thought I’d do the same.  The idea was clinched when we thought of a snappy title for the blog; how could we let that sort of opportunity pass?  While Andy is mostly stable right now, I can imagine a time in the future when we would appreciate having all of the information in one place.  Or maybe our boys will, or perhaps even our (hopefully eventual) grandkids.  “You see, kids, there used to be this thing called ‘blogging…'" For the last couple of years, I’ve been sending periodic emails to Andy’s fans; they've included medical updates, upcoming steps, and prayer requests.  Actually, I just looked and I’ve sent about two dozen of them.  Well done, me!  I’ll spend the next little while backdating posts, summarizing those emails; a little tedious but if I’m going to use this space to track our journey over the long haul, I should s...
